PICTORIAL TOUR OF THE RECTORY
| The
rectory was built in 1882. Michael and Katheryn Donohue donated the
house and property to the Diocese of Marysville to which the parish
belonged to at the time. Today it is part of the Diocese of Santa
Rosa. The rectory was occupied by the clergy from approximately 1886 to
1950. Prior to the construction of the Blessed Sacrament Church in
Greenwood/Elk, daily masses were said in what is today the sacristy - the
room to the right of the front entrance. Today the rectory is not occupied, but is made available as a retreat location for clergy and religious. It is maintained by the Elk Altar Society. The dining room is the first room to your immediate left as you step into the entrance. The portraits on the wall are of Katheryn & Michael Donohue who donated the rectory and the property to the church. |  |

| The Sunroom or "Guiste" Room was a later addition to the southeast portion of the rectory. It is in the room with the large multi-lighted windows. |  |
