St. Patrick's Party 2007 Raffle Winners

The winner of the Corvette was John Royce from Susanville. John descends from the Native Sons of Little Ireland who settled in Cuffey’s Cove just one mile north of present day Elk. His Great-great grandparents were Michael and Kathryn Donohoe and another grandparent (or mother) was Alice Cooney.

Raffle winners were:

1^st: Hope Chest: George and Betty Tyrrell from Tracy.

2^nd: Weekend at Pt. Arena Lighthouse: Patrick Cong from Gilroy (one of my sons)

3^rd: Huge basket filled with all sorts of wines, cheeses, etc: Johanna Hopper from Little River

4^th: Tool chest with lots of tools: Jack Creighton from Milbrae. (Jack is a descendant of the Walsh family and a cousin to Tim O’Brien)

5^th: Hand made afghan: Betty Frame from Irish Beach

6^th: Table top Weber BBQ: Stuart Titus from Manchester

7^th: Remote Control Helicopter: Margo Hillman: from Norwalk

8^th: Toy Fire Truck: Margo Hillman from Norwalk (descendant of the McMaster family – also an old family from the Cuffey’s Cove days)
